I bought a Speedy Stitcher but couldn’t figure it out. I did it by hand with the window out in the end. Next time I do stitching I’ll have to try again with the stitcher and maybe ask you for some advice. I’m not sure I even got as far as working out how to thread it!

I highly recommend it @mrscalex (like the Deox stuff;)). I think I watched some YouTube videos.

On threading, it stitches two separate threads together so you have to spool off enough thread into a separate bobbin for however many stitches you're doing. But yeah give me a shout next time you try it. The results are amazing, literally like factory stitches. I'm going to dust mine off soon I think. More stitches have gone and I don't want what's happened to Jesper!:nailbiting:

How do you fix this the best way? Stitches or glue?
Has the plastic split or is it the stitching that's gone? If the plastic window has split you'll need to change it.

If it's the zip to roof stitching then yes it can be sorted I stitched Lynne's roof when I bought it as it was split down both sides.
Pulled out the remains of the old stitch bought some bonded nylon thread restitch through original holes that was September 18 still holding together.
But as @Jack Ratt has said if the plastic has bust new window required.
A better picture of the issue may help.

Stephen.

I have had that issue for quite some time, you stitch and it holds then it lets loose someplace else and on and on. I am now ready to replace the roof completely, just saving my money to get it done.

We have a problem with the window becoming completely un zipped and we don't appear to have a zipper, can I get one from anywhere?
