So I have had my 2.8 Auto Roadster since 2000 (1998 built bought with 2000 on the clock)
The bonnet paintwork clearly was staring to lift and looked awful so on the advice of a mate took it classic car specialist and on eyeballing it he told be that it wasn't a factory original spray job which I said it came from a main dealership and had no record of bodywork or accident work - anyway we agreed a GREAT price to have the bonnet done and 10 days later picked it up delighted at the quality of the work.

now comes the but.
he lifted the bonnet and showed me the small plate the showed the bonnet as a genuine OEM replacement.
The poxy dealership told me nothing about this and I am so angry about it and if I had knew I would never have paid too dollar for it
I still love the car and with on 90k on it it still look and drives great but to say I am feel cheated by BMW is an understatement especially as it is one of the biggest dealerships in the DR
Never trust a car salesman I suppose
