Uploading mp4 vids

Hi folks, been swearing at my screen for an hour, trying to upload mp4 vids, obs not a format accepted. I have tried renaming files but running out of expletives.
Any clues or advice appreciated.
I'm using a Samsung andriod tablet

I think its filesize thats the problem, admin will be along in a minim to confirm.

If you upload to somewhere you can create a link (eg youtube), posting the link doesnt seem to be a problem. If that helps . . .
 
^ What he said ;).. you need to load it to a hosting site and post a link. It will play embedded in the forum
 
As above you cannot load videos straight to the forum only links to a site such as YouTube where you can upload your video onto your own YouTube channel and tag link.

Just checking in and see everyone has answered before me. Primarily the issue is down to space and bandwidth, YouTube have the infrastructure we can only dream of!
