If it doesn't have at least a few minor problems them you've found something I didn't think existed. A perfect car and a Zed no less. Nice thing is you've hopped on probably the best place for tech knowledge on the web today and are about to meet some of the best people around. So welcome again and enjoy that car, you're a very lucky young man. JIM

Hi Steve, I know im a lucky chap arn't I! I think (for the most part) the only time you can get a car that is just for you is whilst you are young and have no kids or when your kids are grown up... and your old  hah, only kidding ;)

Thanks for the warm welcome!!

I personally disagree but I understand your logic. I was young and couldn't afford what I really wanted so settled. Married,, kids, still got close to what I wanted. Got old and found what I've always wanted wasn't what I wanted in the end so wasted a lot of years wanting something I really didn't want after all. So hope you get something that brings you pleasure. I found the Z3 because of my granddaughter and the smile on her face far out weights mine! And then we die!! JIM

That's a strange place rust up over the the top of the arch, more common to see on an e46. On Z3's it's normally on the sills or lower down on the arch and the wings by the lower front.
Could be the arch liner has come loose causing it.
In any case the whole rear wing just bolts on and off so easy to replace and rear wings seem plentiful used (unlike front wings and sills that are usually all rusty or dented on breakers cars...).
From the rest of the pics it looks nice.
Just be aware that with the those tyres on the rear it will be fun in the dry and probably lethal in the wet!!
