hi guys and girls, some advice on the best way forward. I have z on my drive but I need the space now. I was thinking off stripping down as much as I could mainly roof seats door cards basically anything I could fit in the garage. But what would I do withal the rest. It seems even breakers only want whole cars. Anyone with any ideas.

Why are you stripping it down and keeping parts? Is it a runner?
Do you have any lawn? I've recently put grass reinforcement matting down so I can park a car (or two) on the front lawn. That way I don't have to rip up the grass for paving/tarmac etc - just take it up again when we don't need the space again. The grass is growing through it fine. Looks a bit odd with a car there but, £180 for extra parking!

No I don't anywhere to keep it. Yes it does run and I would be happy to sell whole But there is no m.o.t on it which would make it hard to sell, at the moment it feels like the car is worth more in parts.:(
Which is a shame because all it needed was a bit of welding on one off the side skirts that has rusted out.
My main issue is I need the space urgently.

That's fair enough.

I'd be tempted to take off all the panels wheels etc - all saleable items, especially the bonnet if its in good nick.
Am sure there will be somebody along who can give advice. Getting rid of the chassis is the real problem. I expect you'd have to pay to have it scrapped.
There might be someone on here who would take it off your hands and share the spoils if you don't have space to keep it and the bits.

@spurs fan in a coupe might be interested in taking the car off you as a whole for breaking and there are one or two others started doing this too on the forum so might be worth putting a post up in the For Sale section to see if anyone is interested.

Why break a running car? Would be a shame
When someone can enjoy it

Some one will pay fair money for it im sure , does seem a shame. If you have room for the parts to store , can strip it enough and you think you can shift the parts well and remove enough to get the money out of it then its just down to choice. Whilst deciding i would stick it up for sale and see what happens

what spec is the car?

if you need it gone urgently just advertise it at a reasonable price and it will sell quickly ... mostly for breaking

I've had a few replys from local breakers not great offers but I've it makes the misses happy.......
Gona have a try on eBay as suggested. So hopefully gone by next week. Thanks for the help.

I just bumped another post of @The lastdon he has two Zeds not sure if it's the same car he is looking to sell?
