Unused wires under center console

Hello all, Im new around here as I have just gotten my Z3 on the road. I was doing some work and came across these wires. any ideas of what they maybe? Thanks everyone!

They look like the part of the loom for the auto transmission selector. They aren't connected to anything for manual cars. The photo below is from Pelican Parts "How to" pages. 2 plugs are arrowed and the other 2 are fitted into the yellow part by the gear selector lever

I think the two red ones ( 6 way ? ) are for the driver and passenger heated seats and plug into the switches when fitted. There will also be a black 4 way plug under each seat that where the heat pads from the seat plug in.

My guess is the 2 purple are for the heated seat switches, black for the OBC and the small white possibly for the illuminated gear knob.

I was actually thinking of busting out the volt meter and seeing if white one was getting power when the lights were on. Personally I like the idea of an aluminates shift knob.
