Hi, just inherited a z3 from my uncle, and absolutely love it !!
Just getting to know what's what, but puzzled by these 2 buttons. Have looked in the forums and in the handbook but can't find what they are.
They are on the driver's door panel underneath a small coin-like storage bin.

Hope I'm not being too thick and hope someone can tell me what they are for

From memory they are just paper clips for old parking tickets etc and parking money in the trays the whole unit pulls out.
Welcome to the forum by the way

Yes paper clips, usually used to hold toll money so its ready when you get to the toll booth or machine.

It's a Z3 roadster sport. It's the 3.0 and on a 52 plate, and to quote an old saying --
" It's never been out in the rain, and never been up a hill"
He bought it new in 2002, and has all the original sale paperwork etc
It's done a grand total of 3,600 miles.
He was a very secretive chap and no one in the family new he had it as he was always seen in an old Toyota
And I cant believe how Lucy I am to have it - even at my age!!
The before (found in the garage) and after a quick wash
