Beggars belief! What goes through the tiny minds of these people?

No way , what a plonker :p
I have to have every window clear before I drive the Z or any car :)

I can't believe you're surprised what these brain dead people do these days. I left my hotel this morning at the same time as another guest who cleared his windows so that it looked like he was looking through port holes. Scarily, he got on the motorway in front of me and drove straight over into the outside lane

and the driver probably wondered what he had done wrong

Hard to believe, but people put their lives against spending few minutes and clear windows and lights...:(
And I think that it's also due to digital era! As long you can't clear your windshield with a touch of the screen, nobody wants frozen finger to do that...maybe in the future they'll find a way to do it on Android...=))

It happens. Iced windows and the pillbox windows. Normally on the school run because they are short of time. Sad but true.

In my days as a Army driving instructor we used to call these tasks “First Parade” if you failed to carry out a first parade on your vehicle you would be put on a charge. We also had a halt parade carried out mid journey then a last parade before parking up last thing no matter what the time. Effectively this meant that in the event of a crash out ( call to arms) any time day or night you could guarantee the condition of any army vehicle when you obviously wasn’t expected to check it. Wouldn’t expect civilians to do all three checks but at this time of year a first parade would seem appropriate not forgetting clearing all snow off the roof and lights. Vehicle checking after all is only preventive maintenance which should be taught (as in military ) at leaner driver level. I’m pretty sure most of us do some form of this as we pride ourselves as being good drivers.
