Tyre Recommendations please.

Hello all.
I hope you are all well.

I'm looking at replacing a couple of tyres on my Zed and looking for recommendations for makes and a supplier.
Tyre size is 225/50/16

A local supplier to me is quoting each for the following fitted and balanced:
Michelin £168
Continental £162
Goodyear £162
Falcon £102
Kormoran £82

At these prices I may well be part worn tyres as the Zed is a summer weekend toy.

Can anyone recommend a competitive supplier that can post to me or a part worn supplier in the North West ?

Hi mate, I used Black circles and got 15% off 4 new Michelin Pilot Sport 5s. Workington Gates Tyres fitted them.
 
If you go online and look at the well known high street tyre outlets such as ats, quickfit and national you will find offers everywhere and buy on line and fit at the outlet. The cost is included. I found National to be cheaper at the time but they all have offers from time to time. My father-in-law uses Blackcircles but I found they cost more. When looking be careful as the same make/tyre at different places will have different properties such as load for example. So check carefully. Also the offers seem to be better either side of national holidays like christmas and easter.
 
ATS is owned by Michelin, they will price match online prices too. If you buy Michelin, sign up for their newsletter and claim back up to £100 for 4 tyres depending on diameter.
 
Avon ZV7s are well worth the money and a good match for the zed. Falken prices rather than Michelin
 
I had the old Avons on my Z4 and liked them and wanted to replace with the ZV7s but read a lot about them cracking early on so was put off. In the end I got a good deal at National Tyres online for Goodyear F1 assy 6.

Agree Ant, I used to run Hankooks but they increased dramatically in price and now run the Avon ZV7s. Very pleased.:thumbsup:
 
Had 4 Avon ZV7s supplied and fitted by Halfords mobile guys 18 mths ago. Tyres are great as were the fitters. Only about £100 per corner all in, but the Avons were discounted at the time.

The cheapest I can get a pair of Avon ZV7's fitted and balanced is £225.60 @crewetyreandexhaust

This may be my best option unless anyone else can suggest otherwise ? 🤔
 
Not a bad price.. they are a slightly odd size which tends to make them more expensive
 
Halfords currently offering Avon ZV7’s at 10% off when 2 or more tyres are purchased so they come out at approx £100 a corner
