Be really nice to catch up mate. Next one is a week today if it's not too short notice. Time flies when you're having fun but we're both well ready for some Florida sunshine.

Tony.

Might just do that, coincidentally the abs light has appeared on the dash board.
I can imagine you've really missed the sunshine state. Fingers crossed you'll be able to get over there fairly soon.

Couple of years ago I had car on ramp intending to remove rear wheels to get at brakes , and was amazed (and very worried) to see both tyres showing cord on the insides. This could be seen with car on the ground. I now make a habit of feeling around the insides with fingers. Dont consider it worth spend money to resolve as car only does 3,000 miles/year so just replace tyres when need.

But be careful using the finger ends approach of inspection, if you have wire reinforced tyres you can end up impaled on the wires and they will put infection deep into your skin.

If I remember correctly @Antm72 fitted these subframe bushes that straightens up the geometry. They work by lifting the subframe by 12mm to correct the camber and then spacers are used on the diff bolts to drop it by the same amount so the drive shaft stays at the same level. Clever stuff.
They made a big difference on the rear i was able to remove 20mm spring pads as the car sat very different when i rebuilt it but it sat alot flatter in the rear compared to how it did worth the effort and easy to put together. I used their arm bushes but not the camber ones which of could helped even more highly recommend them:thumbsup:
