Two Z3s & a Z4 Coupe, Mathewson’s Auction, 3rd 4th Feb

The silver Japanese 2.8 looks lovely.

The black 1.8i is a £1500 car tops. Cloth trim, recorded write off, crap number plate, dreadful grille and headlights, some wheels from an E90, rusty sills. OK for a cheapie I suppose.
 
Z4 coup now showing as sold £8,600. Both Z3s not sold, not surprised about the 1.8 but thought the 2.8 would have gone.
 
A decent coop for £8,600 sounds like a good buy.

Japanese imports often have a question mark over the real mileage but they are mainly in nice rust free condition. For £5000 or £6000 it should find a home but the owner probably thinks he has the crown jewels, leading to a misguided reserve*.

Jap imports are NEVER worth as much as a nice UK car.



*Look at the reserve on the black thing. 😂
