Hi , I know you folks on here are pretty savvy and wouldn't fall for this but just a warning that there is a TV licence scam email doing the rounds , received one today warning couldn't collect direct debit payment so click on link to avoid dept collectors , only addressed to email , date in American format month, date, year, and originates in USA , just a warning to be aware

What's a TV . . . . . . . ;)

Tony.

I dont think its a scam.....only cost me £7527.00 and I am just waiting for my free holiday tickets to Malawi to arrive in the post.

Oh....NOOOOQOOOO. Its only B&B

A tv license is something you have, by law, to pay each and every year out of your hard earned money so that you can watch useless politicians of every persuasion telling you lies in the comfort of your own home. That sadly, is the con you can't avoid

I’ve had the same email ,so I bought ereybody in Donny a licence!!!:whistle:
Well it is Xmas:thumbsup:

There is a standard letter on Martin Lewis, money saving expert stating that you don't watch live TV. I used it and got a refund. Never paid since, that was 4 years ago

There are some exceptions like it you watch BBC iPlayer then you do

Yes, I've had the same email. If you go to the site in the link (not by clicking on it), it's a copy of the TV licensing site, looks authentic but the give away is all the hyperlinks don't work. Apart from the fact that they're asking for your bank details...
