Ever fixed something and don't know how you did it? Well just had one of those moments. I have a PURE Highway DAB radio in my Zed with an active screen antenna. But I have never been able to get the DAB side of the radio to scan for stations, it always said on the screen no signal, but this was not an issue because the FM side worked just fine (but I have always been a bit hacked off it didn't work if I was honest ) So it was on the list of jobs to remove the radio at some point and check all the connections etc etc.

Well as I fitted my new steering wheel the other day I had to disconnect the battery so I didn't end up with a face full of airbag when I disconnected it from the steering wheel (thank you again @Mint for the advice ) well, all went well with that modification but I remembered today I hadn't changed the radio and analog clock back to the correct times following the radio disconnection and being a bit OCD though I'd just pop out and sort that.

Sooo turned on the radio to adjust the clock and it started up in DAB mode, tuned its self in and bingo I now have a fully working DAB stereo :D Haven't got a clue why disconnecting the battery sorted, unless it did a factory reset? So next time our IT department tell me to "ToTo" my laptop when it plays up I wont take the p*** out of them.

Win win ! Electronics have minds of there own sometimes may be it was stuck in a tuning cycle that had not functioned correctly. Mains resetting for the want if a better word may have just released it.
Good news

Power cycle reset is what we call it - or on big systems, the nuclear option

Probably a software loop. Pleased it's sorted.

Can you now come and sort the radio in my LR now. No DAB fitted, FM works, but, AM has got all bitter and twisted (this is important because of the lads radio stations - R5 Live, TalkSport and R4LW - there might be sport involved hence the critical fix needed). Switch to AM - nothing. Change the station using the pre-programmed buttons - nothing. Scan the band - nothing. Then press a pre-programmed button it works properly. All is fine until you turn the engine off and it's all screwed up again. Was fine until 3 days ago.
Might also need a Pure tuner too.

ToTo!! =))=))

I have the same radio. While the DAB works the reception isn't that good. One of the day's I'll sort that out but as i use my USB stick the radio is hardly used.
