I,ll put some 15's on over winter. Got a spare set of wheels coming whilst I have these renovated...
Nice to find so much interest in Z3's.

What tyres are folk running on back with spacers...Mine has 245/40 x17 on back 225/45x17 front.
Not loads of room to bring wheels out much ??
Currently running 225/50 x16 all round , whilst I tidy old rims up. ( Traction control lights up more often !!)

Actually in Nefyn. My, that took a while.
Model of Z
2.2i Sport
Got the same size on mine, 15mm spacers on the back for over three years now and nothing's fallen off. Yet. Traction control/DSC seems very sensitive on the Z3, when I had new tyres fitted on the rear the warning light kept flashing on almost every corner, soon as the new fronts went on it calmed down again. Bear in mind that the tyres are only nominally the same size, they can vary between manufacturers, not by much but enough to affect things like DSC, so if your 16s aren't all the same that might explain the light flashing.

Cheers.. The 16's aren't staying on long, just till 17's are sorted. Putting new ones on back... Ride seems a bit more compliant on 16's. I,ll post some piks when wheels finished.
Car is definitely looser on back end on the 16's..not sure its because they are 225,s as opposed to 245,s or because they are cheaper tyres.( kumho against Michelin Pilots)
When I first got car it did suffer from tramlining, it was on virtually worn out Kumos, changed to Pilots...tramlining eliminated!( well almost )
