Trying out meguiars da polisher

wasnt so sunny today so thought I would have a bash at removing some swirls from the zed, got my kit out & chose a medium pad with meguiars ultimate compound-I washed the car & went over it with a clay mitt (so much faster than using a claybar)

after taping up the shut lines I did some polishing

Taped up the shut lines & covered the hood

It really gives a noticeable improvement to the clarity of the clear coat.

Looks really good. Be interested to know if minor scratches and swirl marks were removed and whether you used a cutting compound.

Hi, yes it got rid of the majority of the swirls & looks really clear now, I used meguiars "ultimate compound" which is a cutting compound.
It definitely improves the cars appearance
