If that goes the Irish road races would likely follow suit. I can't see it happening Paul and truly hope it doesn't. Most of the changes in F1 were driven by the drivers themselves, Jackie Stewart, having witnessed that demise of a lot of his fellow racers and also Schumacher too. Motor cycle racers are a different lot altogether. How many members have the Dunlop family lost? And still they race.

Tony.

@hard top Been twice and loved every moment of it.. The racing is amazing and the off race things todo are brilliant fun. Mad Sunday is just that.. 'MAD' ... You can walk around the grandstand pits and chat with the racers as they are all normal guys and girls.. I would highly recommend it, just book now for 2016 .. as it sells out very quickly.

Looks amazing :)
Bet the atmosphere is great ;)
Got for it @hard top have to do things when we can :p

@Shelly I can honestly say that it is amazing. On and off the racing. People are so friendly too, the only thing that spoils the fun is the money grabbing Isle of Mann Steam Packet (racket) company who charge a small ransom for TT fortnight. As they are the only company allowed to use the loading ramps in Douglas !! Funny that.

Yes as always @pgunter always people around trying to get a bit more money for things ;)
It shouldn't be allowed :p

@hard top The friends I have ask a question or two .. Is that TT price or Locals price.. Example a few years ago.. Portion of chips.. the friday before TT £0.90 During TT £1.90 !! after TT £1.00 Even the locals get fed up with the companies ripping off the visitors. One Police officer said if he could he would do them for extortion ... The local bars away from the main centre of Douglas don't do it as they lay on Bands and BBQ's etc to make extra money.. its just the big companies that know they can get away with it. I understand business as I am in it.. but somethings are just damn right wrong.

One of the reasons I have not been back to the Isle of Mann for a few years.. I need to save up a small fortune. It is though worth the hassle as it is amazing.

Yep, but if you had a business over there, you would do the same. People pay for it or they don't.

I've been a few times,my mate Steve Plater used to race he won the super sport and the senior .its frightening but awesome at the same time.i used to worry about him more on the tt than any other race, and in the end it was the Northwest that finished his career.he saw no danger????? Wen around with him on a sighting lap in a hire car.ive been having therapy ever since!Racers will never stop it they love it .By the way he wants a new helmet from his sponsor lol
