A very last minute decision on Sunday based on the good weather forecast for Monday.
A lovely day out to Llandudno, via some great [empty] Welsh roads with the top down all day apart from when we parked up. Forecast was spot on, so a walk on the beach, then along the pier and a late lunch/early tea of fish 'n chips. Then a more boring ride home courtesy of the A55 and M6. A great day:thumbsup:

Yes, we love it Alex. As you say a proper Victorian seaside town. A very wide prom with seating all along so you can stop and watch the world go by. None of the tat shops that seem to be found in other seaside towns either.

Lovely place Dave - spent my childhood just down the road at a little town called Rhos-on-Sea...by all accounts not spoilt by todays "Global companies" or tat shops aka, according to our family, toilet shops - "places where you just flush your money down the drain "!🤣🤣🤣
Just wondering if Nino's restaurant is still there ?

Maybe we ought to have a run out and do the Conway valley at the same time .....

Brian, we always stop at Rhos, previously to get a 'proper' cup of tea in a mug from a little shack on the front. Unfortunately looks like it is now closed, maybe because it's the end of season, hope so. Also very useful public loos, still free too.
There is no Nino's in Llandudno but there is a Dino's, well according to Google
Yes, agree the Conway Valley is a superb drive, done it a few times, both ways.

Forgot to mention in my original post 'The Ponderosa' at the top above Horseshoe pass looks to be permanently closed now. A few of Jim's [@TaffZee] cruises started there. Great memories of chasing following Jim round the back roads:whistle:

That's a shame, always saw a good collection of bikes and cars stopped there.

Llandudno! ❤️ it! And North Wales!
Great to get out for the day and it’s easy to get to.
