I remember when I was in the UK last September, some of the trees were just starting to show the first sighs of turning color. Usually by the third week in October, the trees are in their greatest glory for changing color. This year it is much later. Many are half way through changing color but some are just starting. Really late for us. I know you guys are farther north that us so you started earlier. I was walking the dog and took these pics............

Notice some of the leaves in this tree are still green on the right side?

Hi Frankie
Thanks for sharing your Autumn with us.
The trees have had their best by me as the rain and wind has taken its toll.

I think it varies year by year Frankie, some glorious colours there , thank you for sharing. If/when we can spend some more time Stateside I would love to visit New England in the fall to see these sights.

Tony.

Us to but some friends of ours went and as @FRANKIE has said it's late this year so the time varies, they missed the best completely. I think you perhaps need a months holiday mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm wonder how many forum members Frankie can put up :)

If I get up to New England Pauline, I won't be in any rush believe me. I'll wait it out, though knowing my luck it will be all over the year we go!

Tony.

Our leaves started changing late August and were all down by our Thanksgiving Day the second Monday in Oct. due to high winds and heavy rain storms. JIM

Thanks @FRANKIE I could use a few but the shipping would be a killer though and I don't want to do anything until I know for sure if TOO is coming over or not. @Mnbrennan is assisting with trying to get a bill of sale from the PO and has sent him as letter explaining the situation. If no joy spurs is interested in it! Be a shame to have to break it but there's some sort of BS going on at Walton Motors as they claim not to know the PO and that an invoice was delivered with the car. @BMB has offered to store the car, but that involves a lot of extra transporting until this gets sorted and we're expecting snow this week both here and on the East Coast! Time's running out! JIM
