I was planning - to give one of you a passenger ride in mine - but disappointed the session closed an hour early
Yes I was about to go back out at 4.30 and got told they shut it down 5mins before .
Would have been a great treat to passenger with you Q.
Your instructor was a really nice chap, hard to believe he's 70 :wideyed:.

A few pics - some better than others but you get the idea. Lots of different toys to see...including a 2cv:eek:

Cheers Dave, I think you're right mate. I can see some suspension work happening if this is a regular thing.;)

Tony.
See @Mrs. Bozzy Bob needs some pampering and a little treat .He does deserve it,he worked really hard today to entertain us ;).
Even our Jess's b'freind said his Laguna handles better than this :(.

Probably new top mounts mate but apart from that not much I would have thought. Are your wheels ok for the offset if you're going to lower it much mate? An ex-member on here swore that the first thing he'd change was anti-roll bars to keep the car flat through the corners.

Tony.

I don't know about the offset thing tbh, they're standard BMW wheels 17",225's front and 245's rear.
That kit lowers it by 25 to 30mm in the description.

You want to stop roll you need both shocks and ARBs, ARBs alaone will not be enough.....I know. Be warned though, if you go down this route the ride for the track is great but not so for the road.

I guess that's true Brian and the chances of me doing regular track days are slim so I don't want a harsh ride on the road.
Is it best to replace with O.E as it looks like it has the originals from new so they'll be pretty tired now ?.

Bozzy, Can highly recommend the track days organised by BMWCC the one at Cadwell would suit the Z3 plus very well run and much better discipline on the track

The blistein kit you looked at would be fine for the road and occasional track day, replace any bushes that are original as they are well past their best, Z3's do inherently roll in the corners, i spent a few years getting rid of most of it. If you do a few more Track days you can have lots of fun in your car without going overboard.
