Hello,
I should have made this my first post here, still, second will hopefully do.
I've owned my Z4M Roadster coming on two years now, bought as a completely standard car, I've now added a few modifications as well as retrofitting heated seats using a BMW X3 retrofit kit. I'm a believer in self-servicing so have carried out all the maintenance and modifications myself, including valve clearances.
My car is an occasional fun, holiday and trackday machine and has taken me to trackdays at Spa and the 'ring three times now, as well as UK trackdays at Castle Combe, Anglesey, Snetterton, Thruxton, Hullavington, Keevil and more. Oh and a trackday in someone elses Z4M at Laguna Seca last year!
It is probably the best all round car I've owned actually.
As the position was vacant and I feel like I have something to give back to the community I am now the BMW Car Club GB Z4 register representative.
In addition to the Z4M I have an E30 320i race car that I will be campaigning in the PBMW championship in addition to the odd 2 driver race in Trackday Trophy. My E46 325ti doubles as daily driver and tow car surprisingly well. I hope to meet a few of you at Gary Feakins HQ on Sunday.
I love my day job as Director of the Classic Sports Car Club (CSCC), organising motor racing at club level.
Lastly I'm 40 this year so feel like I'm getting old.
Regards, David
