This is the third consecutive cruise arranged by Tony and Shirl that we have attended. Again they have excelled themselves. Many thanks.
Thanks to Phil and Linda for leading our group and not getting us lost. Good to meet you all.
Bertie loved the day as much as we did, he is knackered now for a change, no doubt he we be fully recovered and raring to go again tomorrow for the journey home, he loves being in his limmo.
Thanks to all for making the day.

Heartfelt thanks from me and Shirl to each and everyone of you for coming over to Torksey and supporting out annual event. We try to make this something of a social meeting not solely focused on driving these great cars which we all have in common.
Each year it gets more difficult to better the previous one but we continue to try.
Also, although several of you noticed that Jules at the pub was a bit stressed,

ps. please don't be too hard on her as her most experienced helper recently retired so she was under pressure. Shirl has been over tonight with a Key Lime pie to show our appreciation.
All in all another great day, we couldn't really have asked for better weather either, we have been lucky over the years.

So, in no particular order, thank you.

Once again our thanks to you all because this would not happen without all of YOU.

Tony and Shirl.

ps. You know where we live so if you're passing please call in and say hello:thumbsup:

Just one more thing, our little princess granddaughter Izzy came with our Gary to pick her favourite car out of all of us and she picked the red E89 of Alex (Alenod) and he won a box of chocolates. We hope to continue to involve youngsters in our meets.

She is all grown up now, she started school this week.

Just to say thanks from me and Stewart. As ever the Torsky meet was excellent and although this time I couldn’t get the hood down I thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. Took some pics but my phone and iPad have stopped talking to each other so maybe put some up later. Tony and Shirl spoilt us all again with a different take on the lake fish pie which actually was eaten with a spoon so big I couldn’t get it in my mouth.:whistle:Love this outing every time.

Tony.

ps. I'll find you a shovel:thumbsup:

Last but by no means least, Group 6 were quick off the grid and lead by Phil, with back marker being moi, neither of us having run the route prior to yesterday, we all had a great time exploring the Lincolnshire plains and pretty villages. A few pics and a quick question: what is the pretty stone that resembles Cotswold stone that we saw some of the buildings made from?

Another great cruise Tony along with the usual first class hospitality. You shouldn’t worry about making it better (or even different) each year - both you and Shirl excel anyway.

Well whats more to say! @t-tony and Shirl, our thanks we had a great time :thumbsup: sorry we didn't come for the sweet treats but we had a bit of a journey ahead of us :( Thank you for a great day out.

Also thanks @Jjim for leading our group around
Niall & Ali

PS: Not surprised the lady at the pub was stressed that was a lot of lunches to get out, but the food was great, I had half a cow on my plate that didn't help the pre-wedding diet :rolleyes: couldn't fault it.

Not sure what is going on with the photos?? but they wont load properly

Same problem loading my photos. Perhaps a technical glitch @GazHyde ?

Here's a few pictures from me, as per usual I spent most of the day chatting including a Skype chat with @FRANKIE at lunch time. We got round quite a few people before losing connection.
Waiting for hoards to return.

Wonderful day out in the sun! Great seeing familiar faces and meeting new people.

Huge thanks to Tony and Shirl for organising, the route was brilliant and the sweet treats at the end were a hit!

Everything was great apart from the brake fluid dripping out of the car :banghead:

View attachment 115697

After asking nicely Tony opened up the Zedshed for an emergency procedure and had a look under the car.

View attachment 115695

A very poorly made copper brake line had been rubbing on the car until a hole was made. A new shiny one was made and fitted, brakes are now working perfectly!

Massive thank you to @t-tony for offering to help without hesitation. Love this part of the car community and this forum!

Can't wait for next year :D
I haven't checked my paint yet
