what are we talking about chopping, and coverting? enlighten me.
 
Also have a pair of perfect Topaz blue wing mirrors £125 each and a pair of fully working Arctic silver mirrors that could do with the mirror surrounds repainting. £95 each.

OK, I could be interested in them. Are the spindles in good working order? Mine broke when I had the car resprayed last summer. Do you have any photos of them that I could look at? Thanks, Steve

What I'm getting at is can you spin the mirrors around to reveal the allen bolts that hold the mirror assembly on the door? When mine were turned they snapped (broke).
 
God @BMBabe I've just re-read my grumpy comment from last November! Was that me?? Yes it was sorry again, so embarrassing :(

Hope @jaguartvr doesnt mind me joining in here...

This is a couple of shots of another one or two completed by others (may even be the same car). Shows front and rear 3/4 views as well as side on.

There is a coupe model also (the original was never a California) but the rag top looks better (IMHO).

Thanks so much for the pics. Pretty cool ride. Mine is way to nice to do this to, but it would be cool to get one for small coin and convert it.

Wing mirrors move easily and smoothly, just like me.

Trd body panels from the pre facelift widebody have been removed. Rust free and unfaded.
