I'm easy to please as long as there's some decent motors not towing F------ caravans, I'll start to watch it and like most of you make up my mind weather to stick with it, Clarkson I won't miss or the old format. Fifth Gear lives on. 
TG is one of the few car shows we get. Lots of NASCAR, hardly any of my fav- drag racing. So hoping they come up with something decent. F1 doesn't do it for me rather watch lawn tractor racing. JIM
Brian Johnson and Guy Martin would be good, but don't think they are BBC material. How about Mike Brewer and Ed China.
It's a shame you can't get the BTCC then Jim, that's proper car racing that is!

In Asia we love JC and Topgear, Evans will just talk about himself like he does on the Radio, much preferred Wogan, always a sausage joke.

I've just read this whole thread,and I can see there are no buding TV producers amongst our little band lol.heres my 2 pence worth
Presenters:you can't have a woman ,you can't have banter with a woman without it becoming sexist or bulling,and usually they have to win and most (not all) of the male viewers are too macho to like been beaten by a woman.
Content:do you want to see a review about the latest fiesta,Astra or205, or Lamborghini ,maclaren,Austin Martin,and 3 idiots driving in some stupid places and generally having a laugh and taking the p..s out of each other.I really don't see Guy Martin as a top gear presenter not his type of show.you need a practical joker who can drive a bit but sometimes fails who thinks he's Gods gift but is really ordenary that we can relate to and maybe Chris Evans to bounce off.Top gear has to be diffrent when I was a kid I imagined building a flying car top gear can do that .that will make it asuccess , but not if you have serious people really trying .but if its you and your mates filling a lot of balloons with helium taking a few puffs and trying to get a car off the ground.Id watch that.
