30 mile cross country cruise to a lovely pub called the Rising Sun. I'd been there just before Christmas with a mate, so knew it was good.

It's beside the river in a village called Coltishall, lovely setting.

Pulled up in a parking space right outside the door and its closed!

good job the pub up the road was serving food!

Oh that's a bugger when you have something nice planned! At least you didn't end up at McDonalds! (Other fast food chains are available!)

ended up in the Red Lion in Coltishall and to be honest, the food wasn't too bad, downside was the view was a grubby 4x4 in the car park rather than the river.
