Tonneau/soft top cover

I am going to give my soft top cover a good clean tomorrow in between helping my son with his T4 . Firstly what are these made of and secondly what are the best cleaners treatments please? BBC Weather man tonight said weather going to settle towards the end of this coming week so top down cover on.

I have one and I think that they are some kind of 'plastic' for want of a better word.

Any form of APC will clean that up a treat. A nail brush maybe handy to agitate if the surface is textured.
