Got a new toy to play with, and I'm not ashamed to do it in public.
Picked this up a few days ago, not quite complete.
Notice the distinct lack of seat. Not the most comfortable ride ever.
So I was going through Edern this morning, and there's a complete-but-a-bit-cr4p mountain bike outside the Ogof Jonsi, bloke who has a permanent garage sale on, so I became the proud owner of my third bike. Can you spot a very important difference?
Way more comfy like that. New (old) bike's got discs front and rear, so the front one will get grafted on soon. Wow, disc brake Schwinn. Got a better seat on order, and a few other bits, so it's just a matter of lacing a disc-brake hub into the original front rim. Can't be that hard, surely? Never tried before. And just in case you're wondering, the Schwinn's got a back-pedal rear brake. Not had one of them since I was a kid.
