Weve bin out today checkin the roads again:D any excuse .called at longnor for the ' old f*rts ' afternoon tea .seeing as mrs m will have to wait till tues for mothers day.
Met this old timer 50 yrs ont road.bet mine wont be around in another 39 yrs. I wont be :(.

I was there on Friday eve. It wasn't there then.

Let's hope the weather is as good next Sunday as it was yesterday;)
 
I would assume somewhere around Woodhead/Glossop
 
Should be at Hope for around 11.00 and Glossop around 12.30 to 13.00 for lunch stop

I've just looked at the route, we are going a LONG way North. Baring in mind that I'm a southerner I have a few questions:

1, Will I get a nose bleed being that far north?
2, Will my car get nicked?
3, Will they let me go that far north if I don't own a whippet?
 
I have had an email from the BMWCC this week inviting me to join them for a similar drive around the Peak District and a visit to the cutlery factory at Hathersage which isn't far from where we are driving. Looks like there are going to be quite a few BMW's running around the same area this weekend.
