I was more interested in the 1/2" version, purely because I've only got 1/2" drive sockets, and although they're on ebay, £145 is a bit much for me. Trustparts are the people that tite-reach gave me as their UK supplier/importer/whatever, though, so it looks like that's going to be the best price. For now, anyway. May leave it a bit longer and see what happens, not like I use that sort of stuff everyday, anyway.

just buy a £4 adapter from ebay that will let you use it ... might end up not being such a tight reach after that though!

£145 is bonkers money

ah if it come with the 1/2 adaptor then you are sorted!

all you need is another one for your ratchet or impact gun

saving you £70 over the 1/2 version

Yep, my thoughts exactly. Just waiting for the road-test results, it's always possible that these things may not be as good as the advertisers claim they are. Not that they're allowed to tell lies, of course, they'll be as honest as a politician at election time.

Hangs sorry head in shame, I gave in to temptation and got myself the 3/8" version. Should be getting used when I do the cam-belt on the horsebox Iveco in a few days time, should save a few scrapes whilst doing it. Bit of a squeeze between the front of the engine and the radiator/intercooler, been there done that too often to not look for a less painful way of doing things. As @t-tony said a while back, it's quite a chunky thing, reassuringly solid some might say. Happy days.:)

Found a use for one today but the 3/8" was just too large so might have to invest in a 1/4" one, for adjusting car headlight aim would use it nearly every day!

Finally got round to using it, wish I'd had one years ago. Cam-belt changed on the horsebox, plenty of opportunities to lose some knuckles but managed to keep them all.:) May yet invest in the 1/4" one as well, it'll come in useful at some point I'm sure. Just a shame they're so pricey, but there's nowt to be done about that.

I've bought, ordered, one of these today, (3/8 pro) after ripping my arms and hands to shreds removing the exhaust studs on my Zed. OK may be I've exaggerated a bit, but I'm a bit bruised to say the least and as I've got to put them back in, I think it's worth paying out to avoid the pain.

I don't think I'll need it until I put the manifold back on but I've ummed and arred about getting one since @t-tony started this thread.

Got it from Amazon. A bit pricey but I can see it earning it's keep. Just showed my lad the promo videos on the tite reach website and he's frothing at the mouth =))

They're a great bit of kit mate. I keep mine well hidden at work though as they'll want to borrow and not buy. Tight as a Camels a*** in a sandstorm.
