Time for a test drive

Purely to try out the Aldi dashcam, of course, nothing to do with it being a lovely day (again) and feeling like going somewhere even prettier than home. So I stopped and took a picture or two, and here's the proof.

That used to be the worlds' biggest man-made hole in the background, been overtaken since but still pretty impressive. And as for the car, well, what can I say?

Guessing it must be around Ffestiniog I would have thought Steve. A well odd man made landscape chiselled in to the hills.

That'll be between Llanberis and Nantperis, back when I lived in the real world and came up here for holidays we used to rent a house just off to the right of the picture. Now I live here and still head over that way whenever the urge takes me. Ooer missus.
