Nice photo's Hugh

That's a very familiar site in Cornwall too with regards to forestry clearing. It's all part of the way the woodlands are managed these days, with three new saplings planted for every mature tree taken ........ at least that's what they tell us.

Good to see you got out and made the most of the sun shine .
Great pics, love those America cars from that era,the lines and curves are so nice to cast your eyes over :).

Steve

Your friend has good taste in American cars, a couple of my personal favourites. Especially the 55 thunderbird. The cars of my youth and two eras I love the 50's and 60's when cars really were cars with personalities of their own and HP was huge!! JIM

What the hell are you doing in Bahrain @Jack Ratt ?

We have a contract with BAE who in turn have a contract with MOD to build and maintain our Navy ships. My job is to ensure that the lifting equipment that was sent out from UK meets current statutory requirements. The Royal Navy has a number of ships in the US Naval Base here in Bahrain and we have to visit every 6 months. It's my first visit as the guy who did the last 3 visits jacked it in a couple of months ago and I was the only one daft enough to volunteer. I got here on Friday and I'm heading home next Friday if all goes to plan.
