Tiff Needell drifting lesson BMW Z3 M Roadster

I wonder how many tyres he got through in that session...

How much does he take out of those tyres doing that and the rapid wear of the car parts

I was asked several years back to offer my car to a magazine that's was doing a spread on ///M's
they wanted all the ///Ms throughout the years to matched up against each over.
I declined for some reason to let them have it.
Was I glad reading the article after the event one ///M the CSL? had it front spoiler ripped off after a spin,
seeing the cars being tested there was a lot of tyre smoke
I look back and reflect how lucky was I

When Fifth Gear borrowed my Z4, and I found out it was Jason Plato booked for the filming I kind of guessed what was going to happen.

When the director got out of the car after the first filming run, I asked how it went. He gave me a knowing look and said "yeah. Jason went quick"

Then as JP left for the second filming run on his own, he went out talking on the phone wedged under his chin. He came back 25 minutes later, still on the same phone call.

It was covered by their insurance for the day, but that's how these days go I guess. :racecar:

I think I still have the original VHS of that and may well have converted to digital this summer when I did a load of tapes. I can't remember if that was his car, have a feeling it was, but if not he definitely had one of his own.
