Both zeds I have owned have always had a stiff accelerator and you can free them up with some WD40 or similar sprayed down the cable. I did this and it started to go stiff again so I replaced the cable which made it better, not perfect but certainly better. The 2.8 I have now has a very stiff accelerator, doesn't stick but is a bit of a pain so I picked up a new cable last week from the dealers which was only £17.54 so not expensive to replace.

It probably needs a new cable by now anyway, made a huge difference on mine but Also check the routing of the throttle cable - it makes a few turns and if it a bit too tight in one place it makes it stiff.

Re drivers window, get some silicon spray and lubricate the rubber slides as you work the window up and down.

Tony.
