Evening all

Now my buy-back roadster is running properly again I have noted one thing which is a very loose feeling throttle pedal. Looking at TPS response on scanner it goes only to 38% foot flat to floor. The adjuster on the cable wasn't far off the end so I think I need a new cable (must be cable stretch?). Does anyone in UK/Europe recommend a decently priced supplier for this? Checked ebay and its a bit sketchy with many cables supposedly suitable having what I can only describe as a bicycle brake "barrel" stop end as against the ball end on my cable

Thanks!
Sam.

Have you checked the peddle end? There is a rubber grommet that holds the cable to the peddle. If the grommet is original, then it may be crumbing and giving you more slack than designed.
