Threads with videos

Is it just me or is anyone else affected :-\

If a thread has a YouTube video embedded into it the thread takes f o r e v e r to load up - I'm on a fast broadband link and this only happens on here where YouTube is involved ??

If I go on the YouTube site I don't wait for anything....

Any ideas Gaz or anyone else :-\

p.s. and it repeats the slow loading every time I look at the thread

My steam driven laptop seems to load them quite quickly, playing them is a different problem! :ymsigh:

I'll have an investigate just for you Snoops! I'm guessing that it's when the browser is looking for the video so it can generate the preview image on the page. Theoretically shouldn't require much bandwith to do that...

Can you let me know what browser & version you are using Snoops? Personally not seen this issue, but if anyone else has please let me know.
