This Weekend 12-13 March 2016

wow stunning pics Ian,I like the one with the church and the cyclists .

Steve
Thank you - I was lucky. It gets very busy and its either wait for ages to get a shot without dozens of others or go when its quieter. I'd already composed the image with the church, boat and bird on the water but there was en endless processions of people walking up and down the path making it cluttered. I just waited for a few minutes while this family got themselves sorted and then they set off. I took 5 or six photos in less than two seconds and this one just got everything as good as it was going to get.

There's a number of compositional tools used that makes it a pleasing image - Just takes a few moments to find them before you press the shutter.

Glad some of you have had a chance to put some miles out there and hopefully with the sun out. I've only managed a measly sub 200 miles since last July, not even run the new shell bearings in yet but was good when I was home last week to do a few miles l forgot how quickly it gets to 70 staying under 3000 revs :coolsteer)

Yes my Alpina was parked up for a short while I went for a coffee! As far as I know it was the only one there. I didn't get to
look about much I didn't expect to see so many cars around a square!! May go again sometime but need to get there earlier.

Yes, it's getting really popular these days, I think I spotted your car in this group of shots along with a Z3M Coupe and a Sinclair C5
