Z8 with a hardtop on the A43/M40 junction. My eyeballs nearly popped out! 🫪

What do you think of the numberplate? think they're trying to tell us something?

Don't see many of those about, let alone carrying a hard top. Good spot Grumps

Of all places to see a Z8, one passed me on the highway here in Wichita Falls several months ago. I honked as he passed me, but he didn't respond. Are all Z8s silver.? 😆

Looking at the picture makes me think even more than I did before "why are they worth so much money"?
The other two silver cars in the picture, a Nissan Juke and mk3 Focus (worth about £5k each) look just as impressive.

That Z8 is not worth a second glance on the approach to J10 of the M40 in my opinion.
Maybe it's because they are 'so rare and valuable' that there is such a kudos around them?

I absolutely guarantee if I was in my Z3 on the same piece of road, it would get a LOT more attention. And mine's a fake!

Well I can only speak for myself, but I would give my left nut for a Z8 (any colour) but I wouldn't for a fake Ferrari.

I was thinking it's been abroad alot hence headlight and MOT statuses, missed a few.

Odd the headlight issue reoccurring 🤔
More likely oarked up long term. Didnt do many miles in those mot gaps.

Aren't they all Left Hand Drive? It's headlights are likely tilting for driving on the right and he's got wonkey beam aim converters that mess up the headlight aim tester.

They are all LHD yes 👍

I'm definitely with @Nodzed on this, stunning cars, although black would be my preferred.

I'm on the fence with the Z8. I like that rear view. Curvy haunches and the narrow rear lights. But the front of the z8 with those sloped italian-esq perspexy headlight covers kind of looks odd.

Just my opinion of course. I'd still want one to give it a chance to grow on me.

And if/when it didn't grow on me I'd sell it to buy the best z3M I could find and an E89/35is and trouser the change.

I like the Z8, black or blue preferably. I don't really think silver suits any of the zeds although I like silver on some cars. Still, everybody has their own views and long may that continue. 🙂

A Z8 Alpina is a very very rare thing. It's got six wheel bolts on those 'classics' aswell. Must be a bespoke wheel for the Z8 as all other Alpina Classic wheels I've seen have standard 5 bolts.

I don't mind a Z8 and wouldn't say no if they were sensible money. Just too expensive for what they are IMO.

Apart from the LHD i do quite like them .
5.0 v8 should sound nice built for American markets styling cues slanted to that market.
Value is partly due to scarcity 5703 total run less than 150 units allocated to UK original price was nearly 90k majority you see for sale are low mileage
These are collector cars not daily drivers which also drives the value.
Stephen.
