Third brake light wiring

Just a quick question. Top/third brake light has two wires. Is it the brown that is the ground? I cant check cos my leccy tool box is on site!!

If it's the same as the internal boot light, it has red/white and brown/white? If so brown is ground and red live. Worked that out today putting LEDs in the boot

Cheers. Mines solid brown but that seems consistent with my thinking. I'm wiring in an illuminated rear badge as an extra brake light. Thought is looked kinda nifty. If it's pants then I can just clip the wires. Seeeemples!
