I picked up my wheels yesterday. Today, hopefully I'm going to have a trial fitting to see what size spacers I'm going to need to get the look I'm after.

They are dished but aren't deep dished which is what I initially wanted but I when saw them they took my eye.

Just got to sort my shocks and springs now, but first I've got my MOT due in a months time.

I'm pretty confident all is ok as she's driving lovely at the moment but while I've got the wheels off I'll have a butchers underneath an' up 'er frock =))

Are you posting a few pictures during the fitting? Hope so.
I might let you have a quick look =))

As a teaser I'll tell you that they are dished BBS split rims, with polished lip ??? if that's the correct terminology.

I first saw some fitted to a Z3M coupe in a pic on the interweb somewhere and I quite liked them and then lo and behold, a set with nearly new tyres came up on Ebay a week or so later so I bought them.

I was going to have a trial fitting today but other things got in the way and so I haven't done it.

It wont get done tomorrow either as I'm out to meet @Low Rider and @Nodzed during their quest to pick up Niall's new toy.

It wont get done next weekend either as we are going to see Hugh and Sarah @miller1098 in deepest Wales, so it'll be two weeks before I can try them.

What a shame you couldn't get round to fitting your new wheels Gary I would have liked seeing them on your Zed

The only BBS with lip I can think of are style 42s or are we talking classic old school BBS? I didn't think they would fit because of the offset?? Very curious now! :)

I'm not a wheel aficionado so don't know how old they are, or how old the pattern is but they are 17" x 8J ET38 but they aren't 42's
