So this weekend we were away in the Lakes on @andyglym September lakes run .
We were stopped at the Sticklebarn just outside Langdale for one of our stops so I had went to get a couple of pictures of the cars with the mountain behind.

So I was looking at the valley full of scree up at the top

Thought it looked quite cool one of those places where one wrong foot could cause a landslip.
So took one more picture ( on my phone ) in portrait mode ( to get more in ) at more zoom and it wasn't till I got home and looked at the pictures I was like WoW

Had they fallen?!?

I’ve walked the Miners trails up Snowdon and it was 50% loose scrale which is not for the faint hearted!

Why walk when there's a train. ;);)
That's a bit like swimming to the isle of Wight when there's a perfectly good ferry service =))

Miners' track? It's for girls.

Why walk when there's a train.

I've been up by train once, when my wobbly old mother was here, and I'd rather have walked. May well have been quicker, too. And the incessant running (taped) commentary all the way up made me want to pull my ears off. If anyone actually needs a bloke waffling about how there's a hill out of the window then they probably shouldn't go up a mountain.

I’ve done the Miners, Llanberis pass, Pyg tracks. In my youth.

The one that is not for the faint hearted is the Snowdon horseshoe route taking in Crib Goch. I had no idea it existed until my ex friend chose that way one year.

I admit that I crawled along it with a wet face as I cried a bit. I don’t do heights FFS.

Anyway.

Great pic by the way.

Could just possibly have been someone who knew what they were doing. But - Probably got no idea how much danger they were putting themselves in and potentially those that might have to rescue them.

Understand the Snowdon train is only going half way up at he moment. Probably still charging full price though.

Great Zed photo though
