Since I joined the BMWCCGB I have been looking at the activities of the North West Region (as that's where I live) and the regional page states that they have a meet on the middle Sunday of every month? Now I know I'm not the brightest bulb in the box but given that there is only one Sunday in every week and there are usually four weeks in most months?...... mmmmmmmmm........... let me think which one is the middle one? is it the one closest to the first one? or is it the one closest to the last one?..............

Well my start point would be to look for the Sunday closest to 15th of the month. I can't think there would be any ambiguity on that basis.

That would mean the Sunday in question is always one of the following 12,13,14,15,16,17,18. That's a 7 day run so you can't ever have more than 1 Sunday in the range. If you find a Sunday between 12th and 18th that's the one.

Well that's one way of defining it. The club may have another way and there may be exceptions!

I think that if it was August (31 days) for example, the middle Sunday would be 23:59hrs on Tuesday 15th, I think

That's why he's the C-in_C?

Oh and Andy, I was always told by my instructor that:

Only two types of mammals fly?
Birds and Idiots and birds don't fly that high or that fast?

Strangely enough I always remembered what he said!

As I have a large brandy in my hand I therefore invoke my right to be perfectly honest! (forgive me)....... but I have never been a big fan of the Z3? Having said that and having looked at the photo that you kindly posted I think I might have changed my mind. That is a stunning car Andy and therefore I refer to my previous comment.........." get thee behind me Satan"!
