The dreaded insurance renewal is here again, don't you just love that reminder coming through the post?? So there it was my renewal and guess what .....correct a significant increase .... again .......well they were told to go do one.
So after trawling the internet the cheapest (and by nearly £150) was .............. Saga.

Not only cheapest but by far the best package.

Never had a policy with them , but did have a very expensive quote once. Now get half a tree every year.

I have both of my cars with them and have had for a number of years, when I went to them to get my Z3 insured I already had a full no claim bonus on my daily car, they gave me the full 70% discount straight away on the Z3 also. My last renewal was lower than the price the previous year. Oh and no junk mail.

I also get my annual holiday insurance through them, and they handled a claim very speedily and hassle free.

I had full no claims on a car before I bought a sports car. I argued for full no claims on a new policy and they said it couldn't be done. I said why? I can only drive one car at once. They gave in.

The insurance company I am with is a co-op and returns all money that is not paid out for the year back to the policy holders. They are non-profit. Yet they had the guts to charge me and extra $300 for renewal last year on a car that they had been insuring for 6 years. It seems that in researching the history of the car, (an SUV Isuzu Rodeo), the records show that it had been in a MINOR fender bender, which I knew about when I bought the car. The repairs were very minor and didn't affect the structure or reliability of the car. The car has run well for the last 6 years. The accident occured BEFORE we owned the car, and neither my wife or I have any traffic tickets or accidents. So why the rip-off?................................Frankie
