After much deliberation since I've owned the zed finally decided to get the stone chipped bonnet resprayed and new sills.
After asking our very own tame and talented bodywork god @Sean d if he would tackle it,I had found the perfect chap for it
.
So a few weeks ago I bought a pair of new sills from Sytner BMW of Nottingham,which were cheaper than I expected £114 plus vat each.
The originals don't look too bad but they are rusting in the usual areas and I hate seeing rust,even if it is just a bit.
So all being well Sean will add some details and pics as he gets into it.
Me and Sara met Sean and Carrie at there house,where we were very kindly treated to bacon and mushroom butties and a cuppa,very nice thank you @MrsD

Even young Molly was the perfect host,making the tea and bringing in some fresh cream sponge cake. We were very spoilt.
Then we were introduced to Bear........be scared,be very scared .........
There he is the little monster took a liking to my socks,must have no sense of smell
.
He is very cute and entertaining.....the micro ferret that is.
Some fab roads around there,we all need to gang up on Sean to do an east coast cruise
.
Then off to Sean's paint shop where we got to see the lovely Mx5,the Jag E type,the rally car and the Opel Manta,I so wanted one of them when I was 20.
