@Eddie Zedder : It was a great drive despite the weather, very enjoyable. Handling is much sharper than my E30 and the tramlining took a little getting used to also.
Accelerating in these things just doesn't get old though. Tried the whole 'cruising' thing but as soon as I see somebody else who looks like they're having more fun than I am, I'm off - can't be having that! Managed 35MPG which I was pleasantly surprised about!
=)) cant fault you mate they do make an addictive drive, when i'm out in mine i don't want it to end :coolsteer)

Hence,:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D ................... I know the feeling Steve. I think I need to move further away from work. TBH Frankie and Hugh had the best idea, buy an ///M and drive it across the USA.. Why didn't I think off that.

Tony.

I know what you mean, you can't just cruise, I think I may be in danger of getting my first points on my licence. :racecar:
I even turn the stereo off just to listen to the exhaust note as I am accelerating. :wacky:

You @Eddie Zedder are one sick puppy! Welcome to the club!! The only time there's music on in the Zed is when my granddaughter remembers it's there. Don't really need it at all! JIM

The tramlining could be down to the type of tyres you have on it

Welcome @Forsh, lovely looking car you have found yourself, nothing like a nice long drive when you first get a car to become aquatinted with it.

Enjoy the forum :)

Definitely been making the most of the Cornish weather this week. Had a top-down evening blast through some country lanes to The Lizard (most southerly point in the UK for those wondering!). Mixed feelings about going home this weekend: Leaving the stunning views but getting to drive the Zed for a good 7 hours!

Being new to detailing, it's safe to say I'm absolutely knackered! 3 hours later and its washed, clayed and waxed. Very pleased with the outcome, and its a very satisfying process if nothing else.
Hoping it'll be much easier to maintain with a weekly wash and monthly wax.

Cheers guys. Since putting the effort in the last couple of days, it becomes something of a 'need' to keep it looking good so I predict much more time spent in the future keeping it up to standard. Looking forward to showing it off at some meets too!
