Out today doing a cold run for the 7th in fantastic sunny Autumn weather. Lets hope the 7th is the same.

Few pics as a taster, just imagine the leaves have changed

Looking forward to seeing you all

Just tell those leaves to hang on for a couple more weeks, they are starting to change. :)
They are Mike but they a while to go, the run has always been about a week too early hence this year I extended into Nov. Heres hoping for slack winds and hard frosts

Morning

Hi mate, yep, sounds good. We're going to stay somewhere in the Peak and will let you know. Thanks for your help. Looking forward to it.
Afternoon Bertiejaffa, hope you're well. Just to let you know that we'll be staying over Friday night in a village called New Mills high peak. Took ours out for a blast into the dales yesterday. Lovely clear roads. Looking forward to the run.

Heres the routes folks. Routes 1 & 2 are ones you need.

You may need to open a Myroutes account (its Free)

I have added routes to the folder from the lunch stop back to the major motorways for those who don't want / need to head back to Ross and the M50

1. If you have a Tom Tom Mydrive account go to save as for each route and choose send to mydrive. Then connect your Tom Tom to the internet (broadband ) and it will be transferred to your Tom Tom device.

2. For other devices I'm sorry you will have to work it out, (I have only ever used Tom Tom) You can save the routes to your laptop / computer choosing the correct file type for your satnav device in save and then transfer to your satnav from the computer. NB your computer wont open or read the route so don't bother trying to open it, its written in satnav code.

All downloaded , thank you and see you soon 😀

Hi Niall, please put me and Jeano on the list if there is any room left.

We will both have lunch. Does the pub want us to pre-order?

For information of those coming down from the North West there is a good fuel station and cafe with ample parking at way point 19 Crossgates. When you turn left at the roundabout to leave the A483 to join the A44 it is immediately on your left.

Thank you Niall. Lets hope these files will work on the Garmin. GPX files can be a pain... 1.0 or 1.1.. Why can they not just agree on one file type.

=))

Agree Mike @mwpe always seems to get them to work on Garmin, our navs were in perfect sync on the 2 Euros we did, I think he uses the older file format??
