Had a call from the garage I'm buying the new car from and they offered a further £600 on the trade in price. Still not as much as I want but not far off. So I think I will trade it in this weekend as the offers I've had are no where near what they are offering. Oh well, somebody will eventually get a good buy but I bet they hike the price up.

To late now Maurice, just put down the deposit on the new one and trading it in. I never got an offer over what they would give for part exchange. Feel terrible really as its a brilliant car for its age. I know it's the wrong time of the year to sell but come on, I think it was an absolute steal.

I know how you feel Richard, but look on the bright side. You will be so happy when your new Zed is in the garage and you can polish and love it. Bet Mary is looking forward to the endless eulogies about the new Zed, she'll have to hear over the next few months.
