We might not be able to make the whole run, however, would it be acceptable if we can make it to BMW HQ to attend that but miss out on the run ?

Yes that’s ok. The £10 per car is only for Goodwood. So you are more than welcome to just join for the BMW HQ bit. 2 for rolls then ?

Is there likely to be a cut off date to book in as I'm not sure if I'm going to be in spain or not by the end of Sept..... fingers crossed, I'd really like to try this....

@OldModMike no need to worry about that. It’s the taking part that’s the fun.

@Phil Drumm I can add you as a TBC if you wish. Cut off should be nearly the day if I get the 30 min needed to cover the Goodwood costs. The rest is going to the forum to help Gaz keep everything up and running.

Breakfast at BMW HQ and a look around the cars held on site. I am sure the BMW team will have a few nice ones for us to have a look at.

Then a drive through the South Downs to Goodwood. Where we will have to pay for the parking and hopefully, get some photographs on the track. Unfortunately Goodwood is getting popular as a few clubs have seen what we have been doing. The price has gone up so I have no choice but to pass this cost on to those wishing to participate.

I am then looking at a run in the afternoon along parts of the South Downs to the west. Which is some stunning roads.

So the day.

09:30 Meeting at BMW HQ Farnborough. Breakfast rolls and drinks.

I would then suggest that we leave from 10:00 in small groups as this worked in the New Forest run earlier in the year. This then eliminates any issues of holding traffic up and also means people can drive at their own pace. we all need to be at Goodwood for 11:45 as the track will be ready for photographs from 12:00. If you turn up late you might miss the opportunity as if its possible we get to go on when the track day events are having lunch. The only issue will be if any incidents have occurred so it would be out of my hands. Hey, its a live circuit.

13:30 - 14:00 Leave from Goodwood to do a run along the western side of the South Downs.

I will post up the routes on here in pdf and also on my myrouteapp.com account for people to download.

The cost has been based on 30 cars and it will be £10 per car. incase anybody wishes to check. You can message @GazHyde as he has seen the emails from Goodwood. its not a lot to get you car parked and on to the grid for a photo. We were lucky enough to get a few laps last year and I can not say, we might get lucky this year. They are parade laps so at a slower pace but great fun all the same. Any additional funds raised will be given over to the Zorg fund.
