The sad passing of our friend Zephyr

I didn't have a clue he was ill! o_O
Don't know what to say TBH apart from @Zephyr (don't even know his real name) was a proper character, with a great SOH.
I will miss his posts and by the same token, him.

RIP matey and sincere condolences to the family and friends.

My apologies, I've only just come across this. Sorry for your loss, RIP Zephyr 🙏

Gobsmacked

Didn't know him, but he was well regarded by many on here. Always sad to lose someone and just before Xmas when family and friends tend to get together is all the more disheartening. Condolences to family and friends for your loss.

Yep, that was my guess of final destination, too.

Let this be a reminder to get on and do the stuff you want to do, don't just put it off till tomorrow/whenever.
I took that philosophy when we lost Tony earlier in the year. If you want to do something, bloody do it!

'.especially when you're knocking on a bit ' referring to myself. Nearly met the end in 2024. On borrowed time! :D

Real sad news to hear of Zephr’s passing, always looked forward to his posts.
RIP Zephr

Very sad, he did make me chuckle. Condolences to his family.

Really sad to hear of Zephyr's passing, RIP

God rests his soul!
😔

RIP, sir. I just turned 80 in December, and fortunately I am in good health and able to get on very well, cycling 30+ miles a few times a week. I have decided 2026 I'll be doing more and going places, visiting friends and distant family more often, as we have seen with the loss of Tony and Zephyr, there are no guarantees. Every morning I wake up, I thank God for another day, it's a blessing.

Good for you @Guinn .🚴‍♂️. I'm not far behind you,but with the weather here at the moment I'm restricted to using my turbo trainer to keep the old legs turning.
