Hi all,

Excited doesn't even begin to describe it, but just completed a 12 hour round trip with the ZedShed crew to pick this beauty up! It's renewed my love of the Z4 which I thought was gone and why I sold my last one.

I'll start a progress thread up in due time, although there is pretty much nothing that requires doing! Plans are to get the S54 bearing shells changed, maybe a full detail and machine polish and then to just drive it lots. Nothing needed mechanically, it's all been done by the previous owner. She's good to go which is a first for me, I normally end up with cars that turn in to projects!

Here's a quick pic taken on a rest break on the way home.

That's a 'beaut' , as our Aussie friends would say! Proper rear tyre burner, not a front wheel drive 'crimpers car'.

Awesome colour in the sunshine Gaz. Enjoy.

Tony.

Just seen the other thread I new I had seen the number plate but couldn't place it ( getting old =)) ) that will be a bit quicker than the TT

And don't take this the wrong way Gary your street cred will also increase ten fold now you've got rid of the hair dresser special

I'm gonna have to cut considerably more hair, just worked out the return journey was 250 miles at 27mpg 😆

My 647 mile round trip to Zedfest in the 1.9 m43 was 34 mpg
Edit.

Lynne's m44 auto averages high 20's so that's not bad

Nice one Gaz 🍺

Superb car Gaz, welcome to the Blue Zed Club;)

Well you were hitting the loudness button a few times and the ‘smiles per mile‘ have increased judging by the two Cheshire Cat Grins clearly visible.
