In my day we had phone boxes. Of course we didn't worry if nobody phoned us. Still wish I didn't have a mobile at times.

I think there still one or two phone boxes in the fens that have not been vandalised. In one of the villages a little old lady used to put flowers in a vase in it to make it look lived in.

There used to be one outside the Swan Mike, up till a few years ago when a local lad who was driving under the influence took out the bollards and the phone box. Luckily no one was hurt, not even the idiot driving the car.

Probably a little more than your combined baggage allowance, ................. but, if you can convince Virgin that it's a sport item you could get it home. You may need a bigger car though when you get back to the UK.

I wouldn't be without my mobile as it makes connecting with family and friends so much easier. Just wish they were around when i was a teenager.
I'm guessing if it was a works mobile i might think differently

An ex girlsfriends dad had one in his back garden and paid me £30 to paint it. It was a real ball ache of a job working around all the windows!

I think we only have one telephone box in Bradwell now
I'll have a look to see if it's still their on my travels today
