Comparing an E36 Z3 at 5,600 with an E85 Z4 at 16,000 I would be interested in know the factor for an E89 Z4. The E85 does have a fair few body braces underneath, and in the engine bay (allegedly to reduce "scuttle shake") and similar on the E89 chassis.

Having driven the MG models from TC all the way to MGB we really have no idea what scuttle shake is in a Z. In the body on frame T series MG models the scuttle used to move back and forth before your eyes with the dash attached. My A was not much better. Nor the B. Yes the Z is floppy. Agreed. I have m roadster front bushes all new rubber bushes everywhere else except poly for the rear beam. Along with bilstiens and modern rubber for tyres I find it good. In my normal driving where I run out of talent before the car does its good fun. At no time does the dash move in front of my eyes. Even on SA back roads which have suffered from zero maintenance for 28 years under our current govt.
